Change Favicon, Logo & Description of your Blog

What is a Favicon ?

A favicon is a small 16×16 pixel icon that appears at the top of a web browser. It serves as branding for your website and a convenient way for visitors to locate your page when they have multiple tabs open. Because of their tiny size, favicons work best as simple images or one-to-three characters of text.

A favicon is also known as also known as a shortcut icon, website icon, tab icon, URL icon, or bookmark icon. Favicon is the shortcut of favorite icon.

The favico is an ICO file of 16 × 16, with 16 or 24-bit color and transparency support and much later, it appeared in a 32 × 32 size, but older browsers still reduce it to 16 × 16.
Why do you need it now? Today, it is an important component of the website interface, which also plays an important role in advanced web applications.

What do you mean by Logo ? 

At the very basic level, logos are symbols made up of text and images that help us identify brands  through a visual image that can be easily understood and recognized. A logo generally involves symbols, stylized text or both.

Three categories of logos exist and are often used in combination. These three categories are:

• Ideographs - freeform images that can be entirely abstract.
• Pictographs - symbolic, representational images.
• Logotypes - simple, textual representations, like a company’s initials.

How to Change Favicon of your Blog ?

Step 1 : Sign in to Blogger (Go to Blogger and sign in with your email and password).

Step 2 :  Click the name of the blog you want to change blogger’s blog favicon icon. On the left side of the page click on "Layout", then you will be to see on your screen as the image shown below.

Step 3 :  Click "Edit" from the favicon box.
which you are able to see on favicon area widget, in a new pop-up window.

Step 4 : Upload a custom favicon. Select a favicon file from your computer/Mobile.

• Use a square image that's less than 100 KB.

Step 4 :  Click on the "Save" to save the new favicon. ("Save" twice : once for uploading the icon and again for saving the settings).

 Now Your Favicon is Save.

How to Change LOGO of your Blog ?

Step 1 : Sign in to Blogger (Go to Blogger and sign in with your email and password).

Step 2 :  Click the name of the blog you want to change blogger’s blog favicon icon. On the left side of the page click on "Layout", then you will be to see on your screen as the image shown below.

Step 3 :  Click "Edit" from the Header box.
which you are able to see on Edit Header area widget, in a new pop-up window. 

Step 4 : Write Your "Blog description", add your "logo" and click on

	Have a description placed after the image

Step 4 : Now Click on "Save" button to save your logo and description that you shanged.
